South Shore Clean Cities hosted a biofuel and energy independence conference sponsored by the Indiana Soybean Alliance, the Indiana Corn Growers Association and the Indiana Office of Energy and Defense along with a host of other agencies and organizations at the Avalon Manor Banquet facility on Monday April 28th. The gathering featured information booths along with speakers and workshops about renewable energy sources and technologies.

In planning for this year I looked back at the pictures I took back in 2001, the last time we went through a major flood. These quick dupes haven't seen much in the way of clean up and post processing but rather presented as a quick look at the highest crest event since "big one" in 1965.
